Science & Business Acceleration
A national acceleration program designed to support science-driven projects by Ukrainian researchers, entrepreneurs, and innovators. The program will guide 15 startup teams from idea to commercialization, focusing on priority areas: MedTech, BioTech, AgroTech, GreenTech, and dual-use technologies.
About the Accelerator
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian Startup Fund and in partnership with SET University and Berkeley Haas Entrepreneurship, announces the new cohort of the Science & Business Acceleration program.
Over the course of six months, participants will receive intensive training, mentorship, and ecosystem support — from strategic mapping and advisor sessions to pitch preparation and meetings with potential partners and investors on Demo Day. The prize pool includes, among other benefits, $25,000 in AWS cloud services for the finalists.
The program is co-funded within the project “Knowledge Rise: Advancing Sustainable Blue-Green Economies via Deep Tech – Innovation Capacity Building in Higher Education”, which is part of the broader CloudEARTHi initiative and is funded by the European Union through the EIT HEI Initiative, coordinated by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), Cohort 4.

Teams at the PoC or TRL 3–6 stage
Students and researchers with science-intensive projects
Startups with a prototype or MVP that have not yet raised investment
Teams with at least two members, one of whom must be a student or academic researcher
