1. Who we are
The website setuniversity.edu.ua is operated by the Private Institution “University of Science, Entrepreneurship and Technologies” (EDRPOU code 44435841), hereinafter referred to as “SET University”. We are the personal data operator for data collected through the website.

2. What data we process
Data you provide through forms: first name, last name, contact details (phone, email), information about your program of interest, other information you voluntarily provide.
Data collected automatically: IP address, technical characteristics of the browser and device, data on the source of referral and marketing attribution, cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).

4. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use three categories of cookies and similar technologies:

5. Service providers (subprocessors)
To ensure the website’s operation, process applications, and communicate, we engage third parties, including:
- web analytics services (Google);
- marketing and advertising services (Meta, Google);
- user behavior analysis service;
- CRM system;
- email distribution service;
- infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN, backups).
Each provider operates according to its own privacy policy and a data processing agreement concluded with us.

6. Data transfer outside Ukraine / EEA
Certain subprocessors may process data in the USA or other countries. Transfers are carried out based on:
- EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46 GDPR);
- certification of providers under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework;
- your consent (for analytics and marketing).
7. Retention periods
We retain personal data only for the period necessary to achieve the processing purposes or in accordance with legal requirements. Technical logs and security mechanism data are stored for a limited time and are automatically deleted.
Information on specific retention periods for different data types is available upon request.
8. Data security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or destruction, including: traffic encryption (HTTPS), access control to administrative systems, regular backups, and security monitoring.
No method of data transmission over the Internet can guarantee absolute security.
9. Automated processing
Certain stages of application processing may be carried out by automated systems for preliminary classification of inquiries and detection of automated attacks. This is not a final decision that creates legal consequences for you — the application may be reviewed by a human. You can object to automated classification by contacting hello@setuniversity.edu.ua.
10. Your rights
In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and GDPR, you have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate or outdated data;
- erase data in cases provided by law;
- restrict processing;
- data portability;
- object to processing;
- withdraw consent at any time (for processing based on consent);
- lodge a complaint with the authorized representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights or the relevant data protection authority in your country.

11. Changes to the Policy
We may update this Policy. In case of significant changes, the consent banner will automatically prompt you to make your choice again upon your next visit. The current version is always available on this page.
