SET University and Tech Force in UA Join Forces in Education and Technology

Tech Force in UA is an association of private manufacturers of weapons and defense equipment whose products are already in use on the front line. It unites more than 90 companies, works with the Ministry of Defense and other stakeholders, and represents the voice of private manufacturers in relations with the state and international partners.
In practice, this means direct contact with the industry while still studying. Practitioners from TFUA member companies will teach classes, mentor student teams, and bring tasks from real projects into the classroom. For students, this opens career opportunities in the companies that build equipment for Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Areas of cooperation
The memorandum covers several areas of cooperation:
- joint research and innovation projects in information technology;
- the association’s involvement in developing and updating the university’s educational programs;
- joint seminars, training sessions, hackathons, and ideathons;
- exchange of information and expertise;
- support for the professional development of the university’s teaching staff.
At SET University, we are building a model of education that matches the real demands of our time. This kind of cooperation brings together practitioners and talented students who solve real industry challenges together while still studying. As a result, the university graduates engineers who already know how to take a development all the way to a working product. This is how education should work in a country that is fighting a war and building its future at the same time.
Our shared goal is to build an understanding that being part of defense processes, choosing engineering professions, and working in MilTech is today’s mainstream. We believe that cooperation with SET University will contribute to quality education backed by the hands-on experience of TFUA member manufacturers.
