Participating in the AI-Driven Business Transformation micro-master’s program at SET University was a real discovery and a strong push toward change. The program helped me gain a deeper understanding of how to approach transformation in business, teams, technology, processes, and other areas in the new era of artificial intelligence.
SET offered a well-structured curriculum and brought together a strong cohort of students. Over the course of three months, we studied together and exchanged professional experience from various industries. The training was practical and timely, as my company is currently working to adapt its business operations to AI. I hope to apply the knowledge gained in practice to deliver real value.

Yaroslav Vasylenko
I’m a geneticist working on both scientific and commercial projects. I was looking for a program that would provide a clear understanding of artificial intelligence and its practical applications. In my work, I often rely on familiar tools, which can make it difficult to explore new approaches or step outside established patterns.
This program exceeded all my expectations – the discussions were meaningful, and everyone had the chance to relate the material to their own experience. I sincerely recommend it to anyone with a vision for the future or a desire to transform their business, industry, or processes using AI.

Evelina Holovaniova
Q: Had you previously automated work processes using AI tools and data?
Before the program, I didn’t use these tools as effectively or broadly as I do now. It was important for me to understand not only the advantages of AI tools but also the rules and ethical aspects of their use. Effective management and modern tools go hand in hand when it comes to making quick and sound decisions.
Q: In your view, what are the most inefficient models or business processes that still exist in companies?
Constantly comparing your product to competitors isn’t enough if you don’t understand your own strengths and know how to use them well. It’s essential to track trends and stay tuned to the market. Especially during times of major challenges and events, adapting your work and your team’s operations becomes critical. This is about flexibility – a must-have today.
Q: Which workshop from the program stood out to you and why? What did you find most valuable in the program?
What stood out most was the learning journey itself – packed with hands-on practice and real tools that we tested and discussed directly in class. The community of like-minded people and strong lecturers motivated me to keep learning after working hours. One module I found especially valuable was the one on leadership – understanding team types and work styles. It was incredibly useful and helped me identify my own approach, style, and an effective working model.

Oleksandr Sherstiuk
Q: What operational challenges have you faced during the war? Had you previously automated work processes using AI tools and data?
In our company, within my area of responsibility, the processes were already adapted to stressful conditions, as we had restructured them during the pandemic. We removed unnecessary bureaucracy and automated certain parts.
AI tools are mostly used for basic tasks at the level of generative models.
Q: In your view, what are the most inefficient models or business processes that still exist in companies?
Anything related to physical paper documents, in my personal opinion, should disappear. This would help companies significantly speed up both external and internal processes. I really like Mykhailo Fedorov’s quote: “Data should be running, not people.” It’s important to optimize processes so that human resources aren’t wasted on running around.
Q: Which workshop from the program stood out to you and why? What did you find most valuable in the program?
The most memorable workshop for me was “Return on Investment in the Digital Transformation Process.” It was fascinating to hear real cases from Ukrainian companies, the stages of addressing their challenges through digital transformation, and the impact of those initiatives.
