EUNITED Digital Hub has launched in Ukraine
4 / 5 / 26EUNITED Digital Hub is part of the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs established by the European Union under the Digital Europe Programme. SET University has joined the Ukrainian European Digital Innovation Hub as one of the key educational partners in the consortium.
Through this initiative, Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public institutions gain a single entry point to European digitalisation tools — from technology testing to accessing investment. Most services are provided free of charge or on a subsidised basis.
EUNITED Digital Hub focuses on three priority technology areas:
– Artificial Intelligence (AI) — validation of AI/ML models, compliance checks with the AI Act, training, and an AI Helpdesk;
– Cybersecurity — audits and testing, SOC-as-a-Service, business continuity and disaster recovery planning (BCP/DRP), as well as training ranging from cyber hygiene to quantum-resistant security;
– High-Performance Computing (HPC) — access to computing capacity for model training, simulations, and digital twins.
EUNITED provides services across four key areas:
– Test before invest — validating digital solutions before allocating budget;
– Skills & training — developing digital competencies within teams;
– Support to find investment — assistance in securing funding for digital transformation;
– Innovation ecosystem & networking — access to the European innovation network.
The EUNITED consortium brings together KAI, Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Poltava Polytechnic named after Yuri Kondratyuk, SET University, Ukraine Global Faculty, 1991 VC, DEV Challenge, Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University, State Tax University, International European University, and Rauf Ablyazov East European University.
A total of 13 partners combine engineering, academic, regional, civic-tech, and startup expertise to systematically accelerate the digitalisation of SMEs and the public sector across the country and support their integration into the European market.
Within the project, SET University leads the Skills & Training track, responsible for the design and delivery of modular courses, sectoral bootcamps, and train-the-trainer programmes, as well as specialised educational programmes in AI, data science, machine learning, and digital leadership, providing training for SME employees, veterans, public servants, and engineers in line with EU standards.
