SET Is Awarded an Erasmus+ project P4Y: Bridging cultural heritage, technology, and European values
8 / 1 / 26SET University is proud to announce its participation in the international Erasmus+ project Pilgrimage for Youth (P4Y), launched in September 2025 in partnership with leading organisations from Sweden, Greece, France, Cyprus, and Turkey.
Over the course of two years, the project will blend traditional pilgrimage experiences with cutting-edge digital tools—such as AI-powered storytelling, virtual and augmented reality, and personalised learning environments—to create transformative and inclusive learning journeys for young people across Europe. Special emphasis is placed on reaching youth from marginalised communities and those with physical limitations, ensuring that cultural connection and self-development are accessible to all.
SET University sees its participation in Pilgrimage for Youth as a powerful opportunity to reimagine youth education through cultural heritage, modern technology, and shared European values. Our role is closely aligned with the SET Internationalisation Strategy until 2030, which emphasises global engagement, cultural diversity, and the integration of EdTech solutions into modern learning experiences. Within the project, SET contributes to the co-creation of educational content, the testing of interactive platforms, and the dissemination of results—bringing its unique expertise in digital innovation and inclusive education to a pan-European context.
P4Y is not just about education—it’s about empowerment. By combining physical and digital experiences inspired by iconic European texts such as The Canterbury Tales, The Divine Comedy, and Codex Calixtinus, the project promotes intercultural dialogue, digital fluency, and the development of future-ready skills such as leadership, communication, adaptability, and teamwork. Through a mix of experiential learning, reflective storytelling, and AI-supported mentoring, young people will embark on journeys that expand their worldview, boost their employability, and cultivate active citizenship.
The project supports our broader mission to shape globally competent, socially engaged and digitally fluent leaders of tomorrow. SET University is honoured to stand alongside its international partners in building a scalable, inclusive model for youth engagement—one that celebrates Europe’s diverse cultural heritage while embracing the educational possibilities of the digital age.
