SET supported student startups at the Student Startup Fund program’s Demo Day
30 / 6 / 26SET University joined the final Demo Day of the Student Startup Fund program as an educational partner and jury member, supporting student teams who have been working on creating their own startups and innovative ideas for three months.
Student Startup Fund is a program to support innovative ideas of Ukrainian students, implemented by UNIT.City with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund. Its goal is to help young entrepreneurs go from idea to MVP, receive mentorship, and present their solutions to potential investors and partners.
Over 12 weeks, participants worked on developing their projects, attended lectures by entrepreneurs and investors, participated in mentoring sessions, and tested their own business hypotheses. The program concluded with a Demo Day, where teams presented their work results to the jury, ecosystem representatives, and partners.
The program's winners are:
Kreslix — a solution for automating electrical network design using artificial intelligence.
Pass2Eat — a service for personalizing customer experience in the restaurant industry.
BuildingPulse— a platform for optimizing energy consumption in commercial buildings.
As an educational partner, SET University participated in evaluating projects during Demo Day and also awarded the winning teams with certificates for studies at the university. SET’s master’s and micro-master’s programs help develop competencies in artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, cybersecurity, digital leadership, and technological entrepreneurship.
For SET, supporting innovative projects is a natural extension of the university’s mission to foster the next generation of tech entrepreneurs, engineers, and innovators who create solutions for global challenges and the future of Ukraine.
Notably, the ecosystem partner of the Student Startup Fund program was EUNITED Digital Hub — part of the European Digital Innovation Hubs network, established by the European Union under the Digital Europe Programme.
SET University is one of the key educational partners of the EUNITED Digital Hub consortium and leads the Skills & Training track. Within the project, the university is responsible for developing and conducting educational programs, modular courses, bootcamps, and trainer training programs, as well as providing training for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, veterans, civil servants, and engineers in accordance with European standards.
