European Dialogue on Cybersecurity in Schools: SET University among EnCycLEd Project Partners
20 / 12 / 25SET University, together with Ukrainian teachers and partners from Austria, Germany, and Greece, took part in a project meeting and workshop of the Erasmus+ EnCycLEd project held in Malta. The events were organised by the Maltese partner ASCEND Consulting and brought together educators from nine European institutions to collaborate on the development of modern educational solutions in the field of cybersecurity.
On 3 December 2025, a transnational project meeting was held at the Valletta Design Cluster with representatives of the partner organisations: University of Innsbruck (Austria), SET University (Ukraine), Heidelberg University (Germany), Ukrainian Cybersecurity Academy (Ukraine), ASCEND Consulting (Malta), REACH Innovation (Austria), University of Macedonia (Greece), Kyiv Vocational College of PVFP (Ukraine), and the Association for Post-Secondary Education and Training of the American Farm School (Greece).
The partners discussed the progress of project implementation, key performance indicators, and next steps. Particular attention was given to the further improvement of the online learning platform and the upcoming pilot activities, including the development of strategies for testing the educational materials in schools across five participating countries.
On 4–5 December, a two-day on-site training workshop for educators was held at the Institute of Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (ICT — MCAST). In addition to teachers, researchers and project partners also participated in the workshop, focusing on the development of contemporary educational approaches and solutions in the field of cybersecurity.
Such large-scale educational initiatives enable participants to build and expand professional communities, exchange experience, and enhance teaching practices and methodologies in response to current societal challenges. For this reason, SET University actively engages in European educational cooperation and continues to contribute to the development of the cybersecurity education ecosystem in Ukraine.
We would like to remind you that in December 2023, SET University had the honour of joining the international Erasmus+ KA2 project “Enhancing Cyber Literacy in Education” (EnCycLEd), which will be implemented over the next three years. The project aims to promote digital cybersecurity readiness, resilience, and capacity building in educational institutions through the comprehensive development of cybersecurity literacy and awareness.
