Grants from SET University
We provide educational grants and make quality IT education more accessible
Education is Power
SET University is launching a grant system that covers tuition costs for master’s program students.
The number of grants is limited, but you can apply as many times as you wish.
What is the size of the grants available at SET University?
In 2026, SET University plans to award even more grants — varying in size but equally meaningful. Full tuition coverage is reserved for active service members and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine. Other applicants can receive partial grants, covering 50–90% of tuition costs.
Each grant is not a “discount,” but a recognition. Applications undergo individual, thorough evaluation by our academic team and scholarship committee. We consider not only achievements, but also ambition, motivation, and the potential to make an impact in the field. Every scholarship recipient — regardless of grant size — becomes part of a community of talented, proactive, and driven individuals.

In Ukraine, it is truly possible to get an innovative IT education for free if you have a goal, ambition, and the willingness to take action.
When I learned that there was an opportunity to enroll at SET University through a named grant from the IT company OBRIO, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s not every day you see Ukrainian businesses willing to invest in higher education, support people who want to grow in the tech field, and create opportunities for learning and networking for new professionals.
That turned out to be the most valuable discovery for me. It gave me the chance to stay in Ukraine and continue growing while studying in an environment that thinks globally.

I don’t have a technical background. By education I’m a neurologist, but I’ve been working in IT for over five years. My path was neither simple nor straightforward, and I spent a lot of time learning on my own. Eventually, I realized that I wanted a structured technical understanding and to combine medical logic with engineering thinking.
The named master’s grant at SET from Viktoriia Hryhorenko became more than financial support for me. It is also a strong source of motivation and clearly a new point of growth in a community of like-minded people.

I work in Ukraine’s energy sector at a company that supports the operation of the country’s underground gas storage facilities. And now I’m also a student – I received a grant for a master’s program from OBRIO.
With the rise of AI applications, I realized that many processes are gradually becoming automated. That’s why, more than ever, it is important to keep learning and developing. This became the main reason why I decided to enroll at SET University.
To future scholarship recipients, I would say: don’t be biased against yourself – be persistent.

At the age of 22, I already have eight years of experience in IT. I’ve participated in and won competitions, worked on many projects, and for the past three years I’ve been a team lead at an innovative Norwegian startup. At the same time, I’m developing my own startup, Worden, which aims to change how people learn foreign languages using AI technology.
My goal in pursuing a master’s degree at SET University is to gain strong knowledge for further development and implementation of AI technologies in future projects. The grant will allow me to save my own funds and invest both the money and the knowledge I gain into my startup.
