Education is Power

We believe that education lays the foundation for Ukraine’s future recovery. One of SET University’s key objectives is to promote equal access to quality IT education for Ukrainians. This is especially important amidst the economic and social challenges posed by the russian invasion.

SET University is launching a grant system that covers tuition costs for master’s program students.
The number of grants is limited, but you can apply as many times as you wish.

Who is Eligible to Apply for a Grant

Members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine, as well as veterans of the Armed Forces

Children and spouses of active-duty military personnel and veterans

Ukrainian women who work and aspire to develop in the IT industry

Young innovators: winners of olympiads, hackathons, startup founders, and talented professionals with achievements in the IT field

Basic Requirements for Program Participants

Admission in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s requirements

Clear motivation for studying

Active participation in university life

Knowledge of English at a level no lower than B1

Eligibility for the declared category

Compliance with academic performance requirements

Possession of basic technical knowledge and sufficient time for studies

Selection Process

Important: The number of scholarships is limited and granted based on recommendations from university experts

Step 1.
Fill out the registration form and provide documents confirming your eligibility as a candidate for the scholarship program

Step 2.
Complete the motivational test as well as the IT competency test

Step 3.
Fulfill the admission requirements set by the Ministry of Education

Step 4.
Undergo an interview with the SET University commission

What is the size of the grants available at SET University?

In 2025, SET University offers over 20 study grants—varying in amount but equal in value. Full coverage (100%) is reserved for active-duty military and veterans of the Armed Forces and National Guard of Ukraine. Other applicants may receive partial grants covering 30% to 80% of tuition costs.

Each grant is not a “discount” but a recognition. Every application is reviewed individually and carefully by the academic team and scholarship board. We assess not only achievements but also ambition, motivation, and potential to influence the field. Even a 30% grant is a mark of distinction awarded to a select few.

Grants are limited. Competition is high. But everyone who receives a grant—regardless of its size—becomes part of a community of capable, talented, and proactive individuals.

Conditions for Maintaining the Scholarship

Academic performance The scholarship holder must complete all courses in the program on time and pass them with at least 60 points. Academic debt may lead to a review of the scholarship.

Compliance with university policies The scholarship holder is expected to follow the principles of academic integrity and ethical conduct in interactions with other members of the SET University community.

Public presence in SET University life Scholarship holders agree to be part of the university’s public materials — for example, appearing in posts about student stories, testimonials, or news about academic activities.

Participation in the academic community We encourage scholarship holders to engage in the academic life of the university. This may include participating in the student council, mentoring peers, serving as a course assistant, or acting as a group leader. The format and level of involvement are discussed individually, considering the student’s abilities and preferences.
