BlueBird Tech Engineers to Teach Autonomous Systems Development at SET University
11 / 9 / 26
Guest teaching is one of the first practical steps under the Memorandum that SET University and BlueBird Tech signed in summer 2026. Under this partnership, the two organisations agreed that practising engineers would work with students directly: guest lectures, real-case breakdowns, joint webinars, internships. Now these agreements are turning into actual classes in the SET University students’ timetable.
Format: online classes in Zoom for a group of up to 20 students. The BlueBird team, together with SET University, will prepare materials for students, including presentations and a self-study module.
The course is part of the autonomous systems programme block at SET University, which spans mechanics and power, navigation, mission control and regulation. SET students are experienced industry professionals, a quarter of whom are military personnel and veterans.
BlueBird Tech is also a member of Tech Force in UA (TFUA), with which SET University has also signed a partnership. TFUA brings together defence manufacturers, and through this network companies find partnership opportunities in the education sector directly. This is another practical example of how links between education and defence industry businesses should work in a country fighting a full-scale war.
SET University continues to work with defence industry experts as guest lecturers on joint courses, mentors for startups and speakers at AMA sessions. If you are a defence industry practitioner ready to share your knowledge, get in touch: hello@setuniversity.edu.ua.
