OBRIO provides grants for IT Master’s programs at SET University – Apply now

Ukrainian product IT company OBRIO and SET University are launching a unique social initiative – named grants for future Master’s students. In total, OBRIO is providing a grant worth 520,000 UAH. As a result, three applicants in 2025 will receive full or partial financial coverage for studying in prestigious Master’s programs that combine cutting-edge technologies, startup development skills, and networking with the IT community.

Recognising that education is one of the key tools for Ukraine’s recovery and growth, SET University and OBRIO are joining forces to offer ambitious young people real opportunities to break into the tech industry. OBRIO will fund the studies of three 2025 SET University Master’s students in the following programs:

• AI and Strategic Technology Leadership – 100% coverage

• Computer Science: Innovative Engineering – 50% coverage

• Computer Science: AI and Cloud Engineering – 50% coverage

The Master’s programs combine deep technical expertise, work with future technologies, and soft skills that AI cannot replace (negotiation, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, etc.) – exactly what is valued in today’s market and top companies. These grants are not just financial support but an investment in the future of Ukrainian engineers, leaders, and startup founders.

Education without barriers – who can apply

Eligible applicants are young Ukrainians with high potential who aim to receive quality IT education but have limited resources. Priority will be given to candidates from small towns, communities, or de-occupied regions of Ukraine. The initiative also aims to support veterans, including those with disabilities. Individuals who have lost one or both parents due to the war or have grown up in orphanages are also encouraged to apply.

Key criteria include not only social background but also academic preparation, strong motivation to learn, and a desire to implement their own tech projects that will contribute to the development of technology in Ukraine.
