SET University Participated in a Transnational Project Meeting and Brought Educators to the Training Workshop in Malta
2 / 12 / 25In early December 2025, SET University took part in a Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) and a Teachers’ Training Workshop held in Malta within the framework of the Erasmus+ project EnCycLEd – Enhancing Cybersecurity Literacy in Education (Project No. 2023-1-AT01-KA220-SCH-000166888).
The Transnational Project Meeting took place on 3 December 2025 at the Valletta Design Cluster and gathered representatives of partner organisations from Austria, Germany, Greece, and Ukraine. SET University was represented by the project manager and financial officer, who contributed to discussions on project progress, key performance indicators, and next implementation steps across several work packages, including cybersecurity educational materials, digital platform development, piloting activities, and dissemination strategies.
Following the TPM, a two-day face-to-face Teachers’ Training Workshop was held on 4–5 December 2025 at the ICT Institute of Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST). SET University invited to join three educators: Liudmyla Buzivska, Polina Onyschenko, Natalka Kalish. The training brought together educators, future teachers, researchers, and project partners to strengthen competencies in cybersecurity education and digital resilience.
The workshop was focused on:
- integrating cybersecurity literacy across different school subjects,
- exploring the EnCycLEd digital platform and educational toolkit,
- preparing educators for piloting activities planned for 2026,
- discussing cybersecurity career pathways for students,
- sharing best practices through peer-to-peer and cross-country collaboration.
SET University actively contributed to sessions dedicated to piloting approaches, educator engagement, and community-building activities, reinforcing its expertise in cybersecurity education and capacity building for educators. Participation in the TPM and training workshop further strengthens SET University’s role in European educational cooperation and its commitment to advancing cybersecurity awareness, digital resilience, and innovative teaching practices within international Erasmus+ partnerships.
We would like to remind you that in December 2023, SET University had the honour of joining the international Erasmus+ KA2 project “Enhancing Cyber Literacy in Education” (EnCycLEd), which will be implemented over the next three years.
The project aims to promote digital cybersecurity readiness, resilience, and capacity building in educational institutions through the comprehensive development of cybersecurity literacy and awareness.
