“Hey! AI!”: Kyiv launches a new meetup format on the practical use of artificial intelligence
18 / 8 / 26
No lectures about a distant technological future and no attempts to explain AI with a hundred complex terms. Instead — the experience of teams already integrating AI into their processes, live coding, working with prompts, real cases and plenty of questions.
Not talking about AI, but showing how it works
“Hey! AI!” is designed as a series of live meetups where the technology can be seen in action and the experience of adopting it discussed directly with those who have already gone from first experiments to everyday use in their workflows.
At the first meetup, the SharksCode team will share their experience. The company’s IT leaders will explain which tasks AI already helps them solve, how they integrate it into their processes and what changes inside a team after such an adoption. The format includes an open Q&A session, so participants will be able to ask their questions.
And what happens if you change the prompt?
Let’s find out live. One of the activities of the evening will be live coding with Oleksandr Krakovetskyi. Instead of a pre-prepared demo — working with AI in real time.
Participants will see how the wording of a request affects the result, why one prompt works better than another, and how to move from “well, make me something good” to requests that genuinely help get work done. In other words, the magic of prompts will be broken down into a perfectly understandable technology.
WOW cases are looking for their authors
A separate part of “Hey! AI!” will be devoted to real cases from companies that have already adopted artificial intelligence and are seeing tangible results from it.
But the stage will be open not only to invited speakers. If you have already automated a process with AI, found a non-obvious use case or built a solution worth sharing, you can pitch your case to the organisers at ecosystem@unit.city.
The event’s co-host is Orion, an AI agent
At “Hey! AI!”, artificial intelligence was given more than the role of the evening’s main topic. Orion, an AI agent, will be a full co-host: it will comment on what is happening, ask the speakers questions and, from time to time, test whether AI is ready to compete with humans at least in wit. How well that works is one more thing participants will be able to check live.
After the main programme there will be networking. Entrepreneurs, tech teams, experts and everyone experimenting with AI will be able to discuss what they saw, exchange their own experience and make new contacts. Because “Hey! AI!” is not only about tools. It is also about a community of people trying to understand how to use new technologies for the benefit of their teams and businesses.
