Registration is open for PolyTECH EDU — a five-week educational programme for students that helps them take the first systematic step towards a technology career. The project is run by UNIT.City with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and will run from 7 September to 9 October.

About the programme

PolyTECH EDU is designed as a space where university education meets the hands-on experience of the technology industry. Over five weeks participants will work with experts, take part in practical modules and workshops, and complete interactive business assignments. The programme runs across four tracks:

Tech & Engineering
Creative Thinking & Marketing
Career & Self Development
Artificial Intelligence

The programme is fully online, so students from any region of Ukraine can join.

Education that brings students closer to the tech industry

One of the core ideas of PolyTECH EDU is to help students better understand the opportunities of the technology industry while they are still at university. That is why the programme combines an educational component with practice and interaction with business representatives.

Participants will not only gain new knowledge but also work on practical assignments, get to know the approaches used in modern tech, and better understand which competencies they need for their further professional growth. This matches the broader goal of PolyTECH Project — to show young people that building a technology career does not require leaving Ukraine, and to strengthen Ukrainian education with the experience and expertise of international companies.

Ukraine needs a new generation of engineers and specialists in tech, but for that young people have to see a prospect of professional growth. PolyTECH EDU gives students the chance to go beyond the academic curriculum, gain practical experience, work with industry experts and better understand their own professional direction. Our task is to show that a technological future can not only be imagined, but built in Ukraine.

PolyTECH EDU is part of the national PolyTECH Project

PolyTECH EDU is the educational component of PolyTECH Project — a national education and innovation project that brings together technical and polytechnic universities of Ukraine to develop engineering education, innovation and technology careers in Ukraine. PolyTECH Project also includes the PolyTECH Dual educational component, regional PolyTECH Bootcamps and the final PolyTECH Summit.

The project fosters cooperation between students, young engineers, universities, technology companies, experts and the state. For students it is a chance to work on real cases and receive mentor support from industry professionals; for universities — to integrate practical experience and current industry approaches into the learning environment. Last year’s programme engaged more than 50 higher education institutions and over 1,200 students.

Partnership for the development of technology education

PolyTECH Project is organised by UNIT.City with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The project is also joined by Crédit Agricole as banking partner, Vodafone Ukraine as partner, EUNITED Digital Hub as ecosystem partner and Bolt as friendly partner. Together they help create more opportunities for students, strengthen the link between education and industry, and develop an environment for young people’s technology careers in Ukraine.
